Introducing Your Character

Character Name: Dracule Mihawk
Character Age: ripe old daddy age of 43
Character Species: Human, but sexier
Character Canon: One Piece Live Action, unfortunately
CRAU: nah
Canon Point: after he visits his ex-husband with a picture of his son making it big in pirate news

Per the Setting

Three Items: His big sword, his little sword, & honestly that's it
Grounding Item: Feather from his hat
Canon Abilities & Skills: Mihawk has an ability known as haki in his world that grants him an enormous amount of strength. He can cut through ships with the wind from his sword and has incredibly sharp eyes that seem to be able to pick up on the smallest movement. He is the greatest swordsman in his world and is shown to have incredible ferocity, speed, and skill. He is incredibly strong and incredibly fast.
Glitched Abilities: I'm considering fucking with his vision at times, making it overly sensitive sometimes, and then nullify it at other times. He might see doubles of things or black out in his vision entirely, while others he may see even more clearly than he ever has before.

Mental Evaluation

General Morals: Mihawk has absolutely no reservations about killing people and has killed more than he can count. The world he comes from is a violent one and he has had no problem keeping up with that. He is indifferent to the suffering of others and typically focuses on himself and his own motivations. Mihawk does have endless respect for those talented with a sword or those who seem to have some sort of deeper potential.

He respects power above all else and he respects though who are not intimidated by others stronger than them. He sees this as great potential for an individual to become stronger in a world that is otherwise cruel and unforgiving. Despite his proclivity for violence, Mihawk is not an unnecessarily cruel character. He would never go out of his way to cut down children or little animals or things like that. He looks down on those who brutalize people so much weaker than them and sees it as a bit absurd.

Mihawk sees himself as a complete lone wolf in the world. He has no crew and no companions though he does have individuals he works with and respects. Despite this, Mihawk can be surprisingly diligent and fatherly in a way, offering insight and guidance to those he feels deserve it such as Zoro.

He has an incredible sense of pride and ego and will defend it to the death. He believes he has completely earned his title as greatest swordsman and is not about to give it up for shallow reasons. He is effortlessly confident and abides by respectabilities driven by other swordsmen.

Relationship to Trauma: Mihawk is more prone to cause trauma than to be traumatized. He is truly one of the most mentally stable people out there and doesn't seem to be emotionally impacted by anything. He does appear to be incredibly aware of how other people feel and likely has a deep understanding of trauma even if he doesn't necessarily empathize with it. He is the sort of person who is factual when it comes to mental health and would not judge anyone for developing trauma. He realizes that he is a unique exception and has spent his entire life stabilizing himself and focusing on his own goals and his own life. Given how powerful he is in his canon, he has never (as far as we know) suffered any sort of genuine trauma.

Points of Confusion: Mihawk is furious at the idea that it might be an illusion that he is the greatest swordsman alive. As this is the one thing he is truly proud of and the only thing he has ever sought out in life, the idea that this could possibly just be some fake scenario implanted in his head is lowkey terrifying. He would never say as much, but it has resulted in him already mentally clinging to Koby from his world as "proof" that their world is real to them.

Effects from Daisy: She is the only person to have been able to inspire some genuine doubt in Mihawk. Mihawk is wildly unsettled by the fact and feels a bit like a pent-up beast. He will be prone to her influence whenever she casts it, and will bitterly keep realizing that she truly does seem to have control over him. This might motivate him to start training harder in other elements and it will also make him more willing to work with other characters so that they can use their various strengths and talents.
